OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Cyndi Lauper tripped and fell while singing her new single, It's Hard to Be Me, at the Ford Center.

In front of a sold-out crowd Tuesday night, Lauper fell about 1.5 metres, hitting her shin and ankle while walking on stairs near the stage, said Paul O'Leary, spokesman for the Emergency Medical Services Authority.

Guess that means her true colours are now black and blue.
